Weird that some of us aren’t far from hearing those words again. Ours have another 5 years or so before they leave for school, but its still weird to think we are closer to our parents age now (by a wide margin) then we are to those years where they were our lifeblood.

So, on that note, I ask those of you who haven’t yet, to send money! We’d like to get our commitments finalized, so we have set April 15th as our requested “pay by” date. If you know you can’t make it, please let us know and we’ll update our records. We have had a few people have to change their RSVP’s, but right now we still have 128 people who have said they can still make it!

Here is what is in the works:

• We’ve been working with the school for our opening event on Friday night, looks like we’ll get some of our old profs to come and tell us the happenings for current GIF students and share in some memories
• We are talking to La Spada about our main event, renting out the whole restaurant for the evening. This is fully dependent on numbers and we need to be able to give them a solid headcount. (hence the multiple “pay-up” requests)
• Scavenger hunt is in the works, something easy that doesn’t require anyone to go into a church or museum, definitely high on the nostalgia and fun, low on work.
• Other events being sorted out, based on attendees, including a closing event at Piazza Michelangelo.

We can’t wait to see everyone. I know there is lots of uncertainty about COVID and Ukraine. Please let us know if your plans have changed. If not, SEND MONEY! 🙂
