IMPORTANT REUNION UPDATES!!

Reunion Fees are Due!

It’s time! We need to finalize our attendance count in order to pull this whole thing off. We have 134 people who have RSVP’d YES to the reunion. That is we have 45 students and their respective families coming, so far. Which is pretty. frickin’. awesome. We understand this can change, which is why we are asking everyone to finalize their commitment, so we can plan accordingly.

We are asking everyone to pay their reunion dues by April 15th, 2022. This will allow us to confirm actual reunion size (adults and kids in attendance), as well as commit to any and all events we have in the works. As a reminder, reunion fees are $150 per adult, $100 per child, with kids under 5 being no charge. All reunion fees will go to pay for our primary events and swag.

Please make all payments via Venmo to the following Venmo account by scanning the QR code below or sending to me at:

@Joe-Day-10

Last four of my number is 3134, for Venmo verification. If you need to pay me in some other way, please reach out at joe.day@gmail.com.

Itinerary Column in Class Directory!

You should all have access to the class directory via our web-site. You should also have the password in a previous e-mail sent to the group. If you can’t find the password, e-mail me directly and I’ll send it to you. You can use the directory to see who is coming to the reunion, as well as find all the contact information you need to reach-out to former classmates.

In addition, you can use the directory to let us know more about your itinerary for this reunion trip! For a lot of us, this is our first time being able to bring our family back to Italy and western Europe. If you and your family are like the Day family, you are going to extend your trip to see your favorite spots and travel to new spots. We have extended our trip and I’ve included our itinerary in the final “Itineraries/Plans” column of the directory.

If you know what your trip will look like, beyond the actual reunion weekend, please type it into the spreadsheet!! It’s fun to see where people are traveling and its an opportunity to meet up with friends in different areas around Italy or Europe, if our itineraries cross paths.

Ukraine and COVID

We are all concerned about current events occurring in eastern Europe and our hearts go out to those in war-torn Ukraine. We also realize that we are still not clear of the global pandemic that has affected and killed so many people. As we’ve been reminded over and over again, from living through the last two years of this pandemic, plans can change and will change in ways we cannot control.

As it pertains to our reunion, unless events out of our control affect our ability to coordinate and execute our reunion, we will forge ahead. The beauty of our shared experience is that we all know we have to be ready for the unexpected when setting out for our adventures. Let this be one more shared adventure. We can’t wait to see you all!!!
